Schedule configuration

On-Call Optimizer can create a schedule by copying the basic configuration (name, time zone, shifts and members) of a schedule in a supported on-call product. This is a one-time copy when the schedule is created. After that, the configuration is managed only in On-Call Optimizer.

Schedule assignments

On-Call Optimizer exports a schedule’s shift assignments to supported on-call products, and imports the shift history from before the schedule’s first shift. See destinations.

Availability information

• On-Call Optimizer imports member availability from supported calendars.
• External schedules can supply cross-schedule availability from supported on-call products.

Notification and messaging

• On-Call Optimizer emails people about new assignments and new swap requests.
• The Slack app sends those notifications, and you can work with schedules from the Slack UI.
